Goasis Lawn Faux Grass Review (2026): 5 Things to Know About Its Rolls and Rugs Before You Buy
As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases.
Goasis Lawn is a solid pick for budget DIY buyers covering a balcony, patio or small lawn, as long as you know its limits.
Goasis Lawn sells turf rolls and rugs online, best known for a 1.38 in, four-tone turf with thatch sold in an enormous range of sizes. It also sells an extra-thick 1.77 in line and a patterned zebra-stripe decor turf. It's a good-value way to get a realistic-looking piece cut close to your exact size.
Verdict Best for: balconies, patios, play corners and small lawns where you want a realistic look in a near-exact size. Skip if: you're covering a large lawn that needs long seams and a perfectly consistent dye lot, or you want a thick, heavy lawn turf. Our take: from our hands-on work building stages and backdrops with artificial grass, a four-tone pile with thatch is what reads as real lawn up close and in photos, and that's exactly what the flagship offers. Just plan seams and dye lots carefully on anything bigger than a patio, because shade differences between rolls show in daylight.
What does Goasis Lawn sell?
Goasis Lawn's range covers rolls, rugs and decor turf. Here are the main lines on Amazon:
- 1.38 in four-tone turf. The flagship: about 35 mm, four greens with thatch, in well over a thousand sizes from 1 ft strips up.
- GL Ultrathick 1.77 in. A taller, plusher turf in many sizes.
- Zebra-stripe decor turf. A black and grey striped turf for modern accents.
- Shorter-pile rugs. Lower-pile pieces for mats and rugs, in some listings.
Which Goasis line is best for my space? The 1.38 in for most balconies, patios and small lawns. The 1.77 in for a plush lounging corner. The zebra stripe for a design accent.

What owners like about Goasis Lawn
Across verified reviews, owners praise the same few things. Amazon's AI summary of reviews on the flagship listing highlights:
- A realistic appearance. Buyers consistently praise the look and say it looks like real grass.
- Good quality for the money. Most buyers are happy with the quality for the price.
- Softness underfoot. Buyers almost always describe it as soft.

- Durability. Most buyers who mention durability say it holds up through weather.
On top of that, the huge range of sizes is a practical plus: you can order close to your space and cut less.
Common Goasis Lawn complaints
The complaints are predictable, and most have a simple fix.
| Complaint | Detail | The fix |
|---|---|---|
| Thinner than expected | A common complaint is that the pile feels thinner than expected | Choose the 1.77 in line for more depth |
| Colour not quite natural | Opinions on the colour are split, leaning slightly negative | Order a small piece first and check in daylight |
| Creases from folding or rolling | Common with shipped turf | Lay it flat in the sun. See our wrinkles guide |
| Little feedback on newer lines | The 1.77 in and zebra lines have far less buyer feedback than the flagship | Treat those lines as less proven |
What are the problems with Goasis Lawn faux grass? Mainly thickness and colour expectations. For balconies and patios, see faux grass for balconies and patios.
What Goasis Lawn buyers say by listing
Buyer feedback only means much when there's plenty of it, so here's how much each listing has and which way it leans.
| Listing | What buyer feedback says |
|---|---|
| 1.38 in four-tone turf | Plenty of feedback, mostly positive; buyers praise the look, softness and value |
| Zebra-stripe decor turf | Limited feedback so far, mostly positive |
| GL Ultrathick 1.77 in | Very little feedback yet, so it's too early to judge |
Goasis is also sold through Walmart, where some listings had little feedback; watch for reviews marked as incentivised. We excluded mirror and spam storefronts.
Who should buy Goasis Lawn, and who should skip it?
Goasis Lawn fits some spaces perfectly and others poorly.
| Buy Goasis if you… | Skip Goasis if you… |
|---|---|
| Are covering a balcony, patio or play corner | Need a large lawn with long seams and one dye lot |
| Want a realistic four-tone look on a budget | Want thick, heavy, dense lawn turf |
| Need a size close to your exact space | Need a published warranty |
Is Goasis Lawn faux grass worth it? For small and mid-size DIY spaces, yes. It's one of the most popular realistic turfs at its price.
